What to order at 2am

  • Royale With Cheese, $12. House blend burger, royale sauce, red onion, American cheese, griddled potato bun. Make it a double +4.
  • Frito-Pie, $16. 14-hour smoked pulled pork, Tsingtao cheez whiz, National Bodega sticky sauce, crispy onions, NYC white sauce.
  • Dumplings, $12. (6) steamed and griddled pork dumplings, Bangarang sauce, tomato relish, from "Fried Dumplings" on Mosco St.
  • BTC, $15. Japanese egg salad, bacon, Vermont cheddar, tonkatsu, furikake, pan fried shokupan.
  • Hot Dog, $6. Toppings: relish, sauerkraut, fried onions, Sabrett onions, Tsingtao cheez whiz +2.
  • West Robbins oysters from Southampton, NY, $1 each. The same price at 3am as at 4pm. More on the $1 oysters.
  • Caviar, from $45. Pearl Street Caviar with Pringles, for when the night took a turn.

Why the kitchen stays open

FKA: is an homage to the downtown New York bars where a drink turned into dinner and dinner turned into a late-night snack. Plenty of East Village kitchens stop at 11pm or 2am.
