Getting here

Take the L train to 3rd Avenue — we're a short walk away, just one block east. Or take the 4, 5, 6, N, Q, R, or W to 14th St–Union Square and walk east on 14th Street to 2nd Avenue, about five minutes. We're on 2nd Avenue between 13th and 14th Street, in the heart of the East Village.

The neighborhood

FKA: sits on the stretch of 2nd Avenue that has always belonged to downtown New York — minutes from Union Square, St. Mark's Place, and the old Lower East Side. This is the part of the East Village that gave the city its 1980s and 1990s nightlife, and it's still the easiest corner of Manhattan to get to and the hardest to leave. Stumbling distance from 14th Street, a short walk from Tompkins Square Park, and right where you'd want a bar with $1 oysters and a $6 beer and a shot to be.
